First Photographs

My first pictures were taken on a small compact camera using a 110 film cassette with a camera similar to this one. You know the sort of thing, taking picture of birds and animals and stuff that ultimately turn out to be a spec of dust in the center of the picture when you eventually get around to having it processed.

Mind you, I do have a very nice one of my parents standing next to a tank taken at Bovington Tank Museum in circa 1978... how ironic is that image...

Sometime in circa 1983 my dad bought me a real camera... a Practika Nova II; 35mm film with screw fit changeable lenses... whoopee...
