2017 UK holiday only a few days away

After popular request I will be trying to return to blogging while away in The Lakes and Peaks in the next few weeks. I've also been told to consider vlogging and even asking followers for places to visit and then writing about them afterwards... we'll see about that...

For now I'm just checking that this thing still works after being abandoned for the last nearly 4 years...

October 2013 Peak District

Have finally set the dates for my trip away this year... 8 October to 18 October, starting off at The Rivendale Caravan Site, albeit that they're clearly struggling with technology and as yet incapable of replying by email! (Should I be worried? TripAdvisor and ukcampsite.co.uk give it mediocre reviews)

I've now set up my Garmin GPS with a good number of short and longer walks and am looking forward to time away in the hills with Tikka and a camera.
